Purdue University’s Center for New Crops and Plant Products, West Lafayette, Indiana

Purdue University’s site dedicated to Medicinal and Aromatic Plants, includes monographs of many herbs and commercial sources for seeds and plants of specific varieties.

Southwest School for Botanical Medicine in Bisbee, Arizona. This site has hundreds (thousands?) of images of medicinal plants as well as a ton of links and older herbal materials.

James Duke’s site on Medical Botany, maintained by the Agricultural Research Service of the USDA.

National Agricultural Library website, includes many databases such as AGRICOLA, the USDA Nutrient Database for foods, and some really great old photos.

Mary Peet’s list of links for Greenhouse Vegetable Crops (North Carolina State University). Includes links to trade magazines for the veg crops industry

International Society for Horticultural Science. Site has links to the abstracts of all articles published in the Acta Horticulturae series.
